Hi. I attended the Laugh Riot at the Hyatt this past Saturday. Outstanding!!! Best $10 I’ll ever have spent!
I look forward to attending more often and spreading the word! Has to be Bethesda’s best kept secret! (Course I live in Gaithersburg..) I'm a big fan of communicaiton, positive or negative (well, less on the negative, too much time/energy. But when i believe in something good, i'm a great communicator of passing on the great word!
Anyway.. I really in particular loved the MC, Dave George Brian Parise and Erik Myers. I want to google them so I can try to follow them when they perform locally. (DC/Baltimore/Bethesda, etc.)
I googled Erik and was able to see him on utube. Great stuff, but he was funnier Saturday.
Well, thanks for your help and for what you do. Making it possible for so many to laugh!!! And lol!! Or, ror. ;)
If you ever need help w/volunteers, soda's, or other, keep me in mind.

"I just wanted to send you a quick note to thank you for a great show on Sat nite! Erik Myers was fantabulous – he delivered fresh and unique material that had us all laughing out butts off! Also, I have to say that Dave George is the best mc of anyone ever at any show anywhere! OMG, he is hysterically funny! I would go to any show where he is the mc again (or the headliner, of course)! Shahryar was hilarious too! (I can’t wait to tell my Muslim friends the “surprise wedding” joke!)
Everyone in my group said they had a terrific time and would like to laugh again at the Hyatt. My friend won the joke contest so I feel pretty certain she’ll be returning in the future for more laughs, with friends in tow.
The October 31 show also was terrific, and three of the comedians that night were every bit as good as performers at the DC Improv. I would go to see any of them again also!
Thank you again for providing a wonderful service to the community by putting together a high-quality showcase of professional comedians, while enabling “Fresh Faces” to get stand-up experience. Please count me among your fans!"
